GRAND CHAMPION GEMKIN HOTSHOT  - BEST OF VARIETY PERSIAN AT THE 2015 SHOW

GR CH Gemkin Hotshot ( Pepsi ) is the younger brother of SUP UK OG & IGRCH Gemkin Starwind, winner of the Supreme Cat Show in 2012 & 2013. Pepsi also won BOV Persian Kitten in 2013 at the Supreme.

He was also awarded Best Of Variety Persian at the Coventry & Leicester show, which was held jointly with the H&M show.

Well done, Pepsi!

Pepsi is owned by Mr & Mrs A & J M Case and was bred by Mrs J L Nicholas.

September 2014

A Private Members Bill has recently been proposed regarding the Welfare of Cats, and has had its first reading in the House of Lords. The main aim of the Bill is seeking to stamp out 'Kitten Farming' and preventing back street breeding to exploit cats and kittens. A link to the Bill is attached below.

Steve Crow, Chairman of the GCCF, regularly attends meetings of the DEFRA Committee which will be dealing with this Bill and will keep GCCF breeders advised, via the GCCF website, of the progress of the Bill.

Steve would welcome any comments you wish to make regarding the proposals of the Bill. Please email Jacki, our Club Secretary if you have any comments to make and Jacki will collate these and forward them to the GCCF office.

The GCCF is setting up a working party which will look at the present structure of shows and consider ways in which they can be improved. If you have any suggestions which would be appropriate, could you please post them to the GCCF website or email the Club Secretary. Comments will be collated and forwarded to the GCCF for consideration.
